Time is running out! The deadline for license renewal is October 31, 2018. If you are currently a licensed real estate agent in Michigan, you should receive a reminder via email from the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) about renewing your license soon. Licenses are renewed every three years and require 6 hours of completed continuing education classes. Michigan Institute of Real Estate can help you complete these classes, as well as the renewal process!

Our certified continuing education classes are offered in-person, online, and via at-home study. Choose from various course topics, and complete your required credits today! License Renewal
Once you’ve completed your continuing education credits, renewing is easy! The license must be renewed online using a credit or debit card (MasterCard, Visa, or Discover), or by electronic check (e-check). The renewal fee is $78. Visit the LARA website and login to your iCOLA account, after selecting the third option, pertaining to renewal:
Your renewal should be processed in about three business days. If you fail to complete the continuing education requirements and renew your license by October 31st, you cannot legally practice real estate, and you may be subject to disciplinary action if you continue to practice.
There’s still time to complete the renewal process, but don’t delay! If you have further questions about continuing education classes or renewing your license, call us at 800-861-7325. Thanks for reading!
